I think the easiest way is in person on Election Day in your neighborhood. So many people (60%)vote early and absentee that there usually isn't much of a line.

Absentee can be tricky, and you may not know you made a mistake -- there's no chance to correct it. Thousands of absentee ballots weren't turned in or weren't counted in the 2004 Congressional election in this district. You have to apply for the ballot (unless you are on the permanent list), get it, fill it out properly, fill out all the envelopes properly, and turn it in on time, by mail or in person.

However you vote, do your homework: there are 10 bond issues and 5 City Charter amendments on the ballot, even if there's no City Council race in your district.
